Essentially, there are two main functions on this website.
Look for events - this function can be used without registration.
Post an event - you need to register as a user in order to use this function.
 
Why should I register?
There are many benefits if you register.
1. You can post and edit events.
2. You can comment and vote on events.
3. You can save events to your favorite.
4. If you provide your postal code, you will be able to sort event distance from where you are.
5. You may subscribe to event updates by style/genre and venue. Receive only the info you care about and nothing else!
 
Also, most of the pages in this website is RSS friendly. So if you have an RSS feed reader, go ahead and subscribe to contents to pages that interest you so you won't miss out on any of these great concerts!!
 
Why do you want to know my postal?
Because we are a location-based event listing service, we hope to have a demographic overview of where our users reside so that we can develop this website according to users' needs and preferences. If we know there are a whole bunch of users reside in one area, we know we need to prioritize our time and resource for events happening in that neighbourhood.
 
I am a musician/artist. What can I do to promote myself?
Telling the world about your upcoming gig in words is just a start. Our website is media friendly - so throw in your youtube video link in the event description when you're posting, the event page will automatically embed your video attachment. And don't forget to upload some photo shoot before you click submit.

How do I get featured in the front page
We promote most of the postings with video to the front page. This is by no mean a judgment of which events are worth going. Really, who am I to tell you which events are going kick ass and which ones are crap? The best we can do is to let the music speak and let you, the audience decide.
